Hi,

I have a doubt here
If I get an LMIA approved job offer of 200 points, then -
  1. I need to raise a work permit and arrive in Canada and start working for the company immediately (before getting the PR)
  2. OR I can stay in my home country, apply for the PR and land in Canada only when my PR is approved, and then start working for the company
So can anyone please confirm if option 1 is mandatory or I can opt for no 2?

Does it affect my PR processing if I do not land and start working from Canada after getting the work permit?

Also, same question for PNP based immigration. Do I need to travel to Canada as soon as I have an LMIA approved job offer or when I have got the nomination or it is okay to travel only when I have PR in hand?

It will be really helpful if anyone can share their experience.

Thanks.
