Hello, hope someone in the same situation or know of anyone in the same situation can shed some light on a concern.
We sent in an application for group of 5 in March 2016. They are Iraqi refugees living in Syria. We still haven't heard any updated except for that the immigration officer doesn't need any additional information at this time. When I called my MP and they inquired. She mentioned something about the difficulty of doing an interview within Syria which I totally understand. Does this mean that the family will have to travel to either Jordan or Lebanon to do interview and medical? Will the UNHCR assist in these travel arrangements. The MP said something about a video interview.
Does anyone have experience bringing a family WITHIN Syria to Canada? please let me know what happened/happens in regards to this step.
