This forum has given me some really useful advice and I have been passing it on to my young Ukrainian friends Thank you to those who have helped.
My next question is with regard to the lump sum given by the government. I believe we understand the basics...Open a bank , wait .
Money will be paid directly into the bank account. Wait.
That's.standard procedure with banks.
Does accepting the government payment mean they have to stay for the length of the temporary visa?
If it doesn't, how long would they be expected to stay? Is there a set period or if not would try be able to go back home after 2 weeks for example?
I'm not suggesting for one minute that they would do that, but is that possible to do? Personally, I think that would be immoral, but some people don't are about that.
So my question.is this: Is there a statutory period of time an immigrant would have to stay in Canada once they accept the $3000 CDN?
