Hello,
I have long heard that in Ontario, if you have graduated from a one year Master's program, you are eligible for applying for PR, and according to my university's immigration advisor, rejection of these applicants are very rare.
Currently I'm a third year student doing my BA at York University, and I'm definitely doing an MA after this, not only because of the Master Graduate stream, but also because I love being in school. I just hope by the time I get my MA, which will be around 2020, this stream will still exist.
However, this seems all so easy--just a Master's degree and you basically can get the PR? I would like to know if there's any catch! Please tell me know your stories if you successfully procured your PR after graduating with a Master's!
Best,
James
