I work in a Geotechnical Engineer position since August 2021. I studied a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science - Mineral Engineering in Canada, and I am registered as an Engineering Intern (EIT). I am unsure whether I should use NOC 21331 or NOC 22101. The duties of my job align with NOC 21331, but I am uncertain if I need to be registered as a Professional Engineer to practice in this position. I also notice that the exclusions mention 'Mining engineers,' whereas my position is as a Geotechnical engineer, although I studied Applied Science in Mineral Engineering.
