As you will see the only correspondence hitherto has been rejection prior to CC charged/BD encashed.

Nobody has had an AOR (for any NOC) or a file number, nor has anyone yet reported they've been rejected after encashment.

Some people have phoned CIC and were quoted 33 weeks, which is a very long time, so we think if this is true that there may be no AOR now and that the first thing we will hear is from visa office for medical requests.

But really we're all just guessing at this stage.

But there must be someone who has recieved some sort of correspondance from CIO/VO post 26/6....it's just too strange that no one has heard anything till yet....btw...where r u located and which is your VO?

@Cappuccino
I think you are right.
But things will be clear in next two months or so.
We need to be patient.

The only information we have, other than confirmation that people's credit cards are charged or banker's drafts have been cashed, is what people have told us having phoned up CIC.

A week or so ago, several people phoned CIC and were told they were working on eligiblity reviews up until the end of August. Then after that someone phoned and was told he would not hear anything for at least 10 weeks from encashment. A few days later 2 people phoned CIC and were told 33 weeks (although exactly what this means we do not know).

So it really is anybody's guess at present what is going on. But currently not a single post-June-26 has received an ECAS number or an AOR, likewise nobody who has had their CC/BD cashed has received a rejection.

Even IF there is a possibility that CIC/CIO will not issue AOR and people may not hear until VO issue their medical requests, then those who fail the eligibility review will start to hear something soon (takes probably about 2 weeks for post when CIC sends an application back).

Either way, we hopefully will hear something more concrete in the next week or two.
