I am planning to travel to Canada on visitor visa to get my H1B stamped. I have valid I797 till 2026 Jan but my current visa stamp is expired. Along with my H1b, I would also want to get my wife and kid's H4 visa stamping. My current expectation is to book appointment for Toronto or Ottawa consulate in June and get this done. Can someone please clarify the following:

- Are there cases where H1B stamping was denied / refused in Canada?
- I changed employers and the recent I797 is from my new employer. Will this cause any problem?
- How long does it currently take for the passport to be returned?
- Is there a preferred option between Toronto / Ottawa in terms of approval rates?
