My husband and I both sent our applications for our PR Card renewal on June 26th. I got an email acknowledging the receipt on October 13th, and then my new PR card in the mail on October 18th. However, my husband hasn't gotten any acknowledgement of receipt nor has he gotten his PR card or any sign of his application being processed at all.
We sent in our applications in separate files but on the same package, so I know if they got mine they must've gotten his. They were both complete and filled out the same way, pictures taken the same day, etc. However, now we're freaking out that they might've missed his application as we're planning to travel back home for the Holidays. Is this something I should be worried about or is this something common where applications are processed at different times? Just want to know if I should call and waste an entire day waiting on the phone trying to get an answer, or wait it out for now if it's something more common.
