With pocket wise?
What do you mean?

I think you'd get a better answer if you asked this question on a maternity forum rather than an immigration one

Seems you are not sure as to which route to go. As advised head over to the health section of the forum. Its wise to base your decision on medical grounds based on which location say that your doctor works from. Pocketwise - costs would be covered by OHIP if you meet the criteria for provincial health coverage, have applied, have been approved and coverage has commenced prior to the birth. If you don't have OHIP then expect a huge bill (+10K) especially if there is a c-section birth and/or are any complications.

Looking at your other posts, it seems that you are outside Canada now without health coverage and considering coming here to have your baby. The way health care works is that you must be a resident of a province to get health coverage. If you arrive in Canada, say that you are settling in that province and get health coverage but then leave again after the birth, worst case you could be accused of fraud and have to pay back the amount they covered for you.

According to http://www.health.gov.on.ca/en/public/publications/ohip/ohip_eligibility.aspx if you go to ON, you are eligible if you spend at least 5 months in ON in any 12 month period, there of 5 months in your first 6 in ON. In ON, you have a 3 month waiting period to get coverage. If you arrive at least 3 months before your baby is born, get coverage, have your baby and make sure you stay in ON for a total of at least 153 days, you would be ok to leave again if your husband is not ready to move yet.

If you have the baby before 3 months, you would not have coverage and would have to pay out of pocket. You should ask the hospitals in question about their price ideas and payment plans if that is the case. As for which of them is better, you should talk to the doctors and see the facilities before you decide. I think the main thing is that you like and trust your doctor, not the hospital.
