Foreign work experience

I have foreign work experience from a long time ago: Jan 2014 to May 2015. Can that count as one-year foreign experience if I apply for PR in the first half of 2024 or is it too late and doesn’t come under “in the last 10 years?”

I’m confused as to where they start counting the dates. Technically, I guess the time that I worked, even if they count from May 2014 to May 2015, would be “in the last 10 years.” Can someone clarify how the dates/years for work experience counted?

Pretty simple, for example your submitted day is Jan 01 2024, so 10 years backward was Jan 01 2014. Your valid work period is the period falls under that timeframe.
