Hello, I got a job offer from canadian company but I will stay in Slovakia (European Union) and not move to Canada at this point. I have understood my employer would register me as standard Canadian employee and I will have to pay all taxes/deductions as if I was in Canada.
On top of that, staying in Slovakia, I will have to pay slovak health insurance to cover for my medical bills otherwise I would have to cover everything by my own if sick or hospitalized.
Eventually I would like to request PR and move to Canada therefore believe paying all costs to Canadian system will be beneficial however can you please advise me what are the best alternatives for me? Which of salary deductions arent mandatory, I do not have to pay or can unregister from paying?
