PR file? No where on the application forms is there any question that asks about rejection of PR applications. So, you don't need to proactively mention it anywhere.

As I tell people at work when I need information
, or applied here when people are filling in forms.
“ Just the facts ma’am,and only the facts “

I don’t need a long convoluted story , just the facts.
If my eyes start to glaze over when reading something, I’m lost already

You don't have to...just fill in applications...they will do the checks and they will see in the system what happend before...if they have any more questions or concerns they will ask for explanation...don't give them more than they ask for...i was in same situation i just filled the app and have sent it...soon to become citizen...they didn't ask me anything extra.

Same goes for interview. Only answer what they ask, be truthful but be concise. Do not volunteer information.
