I applied for canadian immigration in 2007 and now I have got Turkish nationality after surrendering my previous nationality (Indian). There is slight spell change of my name in my Turkish ID. Will this create any problem? what should I do to notify this to canadain embassy? and how?

Hi,

Defenitely you should contact the visa office where you submitted your application. I think there will be lot of changes will take effect due to the nationality change. You may have to revise the application form. However, briefing all the matters you may contact the IO by letter or better choose ECAS "Case Specific Enquiry" where you can upload additional information about your Turkish ID etc... for your file.
