Change of name PR card

Hi all

I applied for name change in October and didn't receive acknowledgment - I know it got there as I used tracking but now that they are working from files in October (according to the website) I am wondering if I should have heard before now. I have checked ecas but they only list my old card

If you applied for a name change, that would pre suppose you also filed the application for a new PR card, since you only get the first one for 'free'. If this is the case you are bound by the PR card renewal practices just like anyone else renewing their card. You won't hear from them until you get your card in the mail, unless they need more information from you for something.
