My wife had a former name 8 years ago which is not mentioned on any of the documents requested post ITA.
We had a rejected application with a consultant where we did not declare she had a former name because the he didn't inform us it is requested.
Now we are applying by ourselves and found out there's a question about other names and a proof is demanded.
Is it mandatory to declare? If yes, will this cause any contradictions if CIC decide to compare the info with the previous declined application and lead to misrepresentation?
