I believe its 10,000 CAD or less, anything higher will be subjected to questioning.

No limit

If a individual or a family is carrying more than CAD $10.000 must be declared to avoid fines.

No problems if you're anot emigrant with funds to settle.

Note that CAD $10.000 includes any currency, traveler checka or similar.

If you have almost $10k better declare it because other currencies value can affect the total amount.
