Hi,
I am a Canadian Citizen living in Canada.
I have recently been offered a job to work for a company out of the US, but as part of my conditions I have been given the ability to telecommute so that I don't need to entirely uproot my life.

I would simply have to make a trip to the office in North Carolina when needed (10-12 times per year).

The position would qualify under a TN visa as it is for an occupation listed under NAFTA.

Are there any issue to doing this? I have not signed the agreement, nor handed in my resignation from my current employer as I am worried about potential issues with getting my TN visa if I am not planning on actually living in the States to do the work.

I would also have to assume that I would be paying NC taxes and would need to file tax returns in both Canada and the US on all income earned?
