CRNE is not written abroad. You must apply to a college of nursing in one of the provinces in Canada except Quebec to be assessed. If you qualify to write the examination, you must go to Canada to take it.

I was reading your post,

PLEASE HELP

I'm a registered nurse from philippines and I'm struggling on how to apply for CRNE even if I'm staying here in phil. I don't know where to start, what to do and all the requirements needed. I'm planning to take the june 2012 examination. PLEASE can someone tell me their personal experience on how they applied for this or anyone who really knows or know someone that processed this as well. THANKYOU. I'm looking forward for replies, really need this. THANKYOU!

I'm also confused on CNO and CRNE? and if i have to take them both or what.. replies are much appreciated :)

Cno is COLLEGE OF NURSING ONTARIO.Its like the nursing body in your country that gives license to practice.Whereas CRNE is CANADIAN REGISTERED NURSE EXAMINATION.So if you apply to CNO for registration, your application will be assessed for eligibilty. If you are deemed eligible, you will be informed you are eligible to apply and sit for CRNE.Hope this helps.

Now I get it, I thought CNO is a test. How will I pass my application there? do you know any site or do I really have to use a tourist visa and go personally there? .. so before everything else i need to pass CNO first (meaning it's the very first step) then after it'll be the CRNE, which is the actual test? :)

Thank you so much! you're enlightening me with all these. much appreciated :)

Please go to this website: http://www.cno.org/, you will get information on how to apply to CNO. Also get information from numerous threads on this blog of people who has already gone down this path before. I wish you all the best.
