Hi Everyone,

Need your inputs in knowing whether an exit stamp would be made on passport for TRV visitors. My in-laws were planning to visit Canada, and their Travel Itinerary would be for 2 months. But not sure if they will continue stay here after that or not. So my question is, if in case they got TRV, will any exit stamp be stamped on PP at the time of entry for two months. or is it standard 6 months?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

It depends on the officer, if everything is ok they usually give you 6 months - which they actually do not write on the passport, it's just a stamp that doesn't say anything. IF they give you less they will write it then.

But they usually give that maximum REGARDLESS of the duration of your trip. On the customs declaration they can write 3 months instead just in case, but it doesn't affect the officer's decission.

Hope it helps.
