So there are 1 citizenship application form for adults which is under subsection 5 (1)

But for minors there are 2 citizenship application forms one is under subsection 5 (1) and the other is under subsection 5 (2) ???

What is the difference between both forms for minors applying?, also for adults is it sure only ONE form exists under subsection 5 (1)?

For Adult you would use the form CIT 0002 E, which is the one you mentioned under subsection 5(1)
For Minor CIT 0403 E is under subsection 5 (1) - This application is used if the minor (under 18) is used when the minor is applying without a legal parent.
For Minor CIT 003 E is under subsection 5 (2) - This one is used if the parent or guardian applying on behalf of a minor (under 18) who is a permanent resident.

If you are applying for citizenship as the principal applicant and you have dependents under 18, use the minor application under subsection 5(2) as this is the correct form.

For the adult citizenship application that is the only one.

Unless you have a special case of being born Stateless to Canadian parents, or was in the Canadian Arm Forces.

Hope this helps!
