Hi @legalfalcon . I need suggestion. Please help. I got my first portal email but I already boarded the flight to india. What to do in this case? Should I reply to the email. How much time i have to reply them back ? If I don’t reply and come back in 2 weeks , what are the repercussions?

I got biometrics request for spouse on Nov 25, haven’t done yet. My medical is expired but they never asked so far, that’s why i was just wondering if that has any impact on portal email

Hi there, when did you do biometrics for spouse n after how many days you got portal email? Did you go for remedical for yourself, probably it got expired before you got portal email? Thanks

It was available earlier, i think it’s just the new portal under which you have to select family reunification only

I did it earlier when it was applicable in August after submitting file in JULY. I am not sure if that is applicable now. All i am saying is if you did it this way when you applied, you don’t need to reapply, parents will get their visa

Okay. My spouse applied for SOWP and did biometrics for that. Biometrics number is added to both the files by itself - PR and SOWp. Would they send him BIL again?

Not necessarily, I applied my parenTs visa in july , submitted family reunification webform in September (before that reapply guidelines) and received passport request 2 days back.

Hey, so you applied for visitor visa for your spouse, didn’t she give the biometrics for that visa yet? If yes, those biometrics were not added to her PR file by itself?
