I applied for my parents visitor visa from India on April 18th 2023 - received for my dad on 18th itself - yet to receive for my mother :/

I don't plan on importing anything - so I'm assuming the B4 part becomes irrelevant now :)

oh okay. glad it worked out for you. I am worried that they stamped the "Settling for less than 12 months" option and I plan to stay here - by any chance, do you know anything about this?

it took me a month to go from passport courier (send to NY) to passport courier (receive from NY). hope this helps

just received mine. 14 April 2022 (Thursday) - Delivered to VFS New York. 18 April 2022 (Monday) - Delivered to IRCC. 29 April 2022 (Friday)- IRCC Portal Update (Approved).

how did you get to know this? through the IRCC portal?

I thought I'm the only one. tbh I thought the IRCC stamping would be the fastest

I wonder is there is anybody in this group waiting for PR from NY-VAC/IRCC Passport submitted after 14th April?

mine is with IRCC since 18th April. I applied through NY VAC too.

how long after FedEx delivered your documents did NY VAC send you a tracking number? Mine was received on 14th April and I still haven't received any tracking number :/

it was NY VAC in the original email, did not ask them for any change, tbh didn't want to add any additional delay :| Yes, I am :)

ideally VFS should send you a tracking number once they acknowledge your passport (which might take 1 day to 1.5 weeks after FedEx delivers it). You could use that to track your application. Mine was delivered last week but I still have to receive a tracking number from NY VAC.
