I don't think what you did in Canada as long as you are in Canada physically, matters for Citizenship. They are specific about the days spent in Canada, and abroad, and taxes filled too. But being a student you would still file taxes each year.

Hi guys, Curious question, for FP requests, do we have to send the results in 30 days , or FP scanning is to be done in 30 days of receiving the request? I'm yet to get my results back in the mail and I only have 15 days left to send it to CIC.

If its any relief for you, my application was received on March 13th and I still haven't received any confirmation. I called to find the status and I got the same reply too. Nothing has come back either. Hopefully we can expect something this week is my thought.

Yes, two days ago and they couldn't find me in their system, couldn't tell me if they received it or not. Not sure whats happening but I feel like its taking a while for applicants this month, not all but some of us at least.

Just got off the phone with CIC to update my address, they can't find my application to update the address but they updated my profile. Are there anyone else in the same boat as me? They received my application on the 13th of March and I can see from the spreadsheet a lot of us haven't received...
