Re-issue of Expired COPR & Visa

My passport has been dispatched and the counterfoil details have been updated in my account. My new COPR is valid till 2nd September 2022, exactly one year from the date of passing the re-medicals.

There are 3 options for you to know your VO - Either through calling them, via Webform or via GCMS notes My VO is Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia not the Sydney in Australia. I am yet to get my passport back post stamping, but yes, the visa should be applicable till...

Re-issue of Expired COPR & Visa

I think this has more to do with the VO handling your file. I believe it would be Ottawa and they have really been the ones who are completely silent for outland applicants for the longest possible time. Other VOs are still sending out PPRs. I got my second PPR on 4th October and my VO is...

Re-issue of Expired COPR & Visa

Sorry I did not get the first part of your question? My VO is Sydney. I just emailed them that I need clarity for my long term plans and that they should send me re-med request. The email id I had sent it on was the same on from which I got PPR email. They do not respond to emails otherwise.

Re-issue of Expired COPR & Visa

I did not get any email from them to reopen my file. Directly got remed request in my account. This is the third email that I had sent to them. I have seen them react this quickly to emails before though. 5 days before expiry of my COPR I asked them for an extension of medical exam, they...

Received a re-medical request the day before, on the 23rd. I had sent an angry email to Sydney visa office on the 20th. I have no clue whether the re-med request was in response to that email or was it anyway supposed to come in. Finally some movement though! I see light at the end of the tunnel...

Of course. Why wouldn't it be? The borders for COPR holders should open sometime at the end of July or mid-August. Should not be delayed beyond that. In spite of relying on speculations by members here, rely on solid hard data points. Of course things can change, but as of now, it looks more...

Very pessimistic. The tourism industry will not be able to survive such a delayed reopening firstly. August - Secondly, how is a fully vaccinated European/Australian different from any other country's resident who is fully vaccinate? Reeks of discrimination. Would not happen at all. September...
