Oh wow this is really a long time to be waiting after file transfer. I understand the pandemic and everything but this is ridiculous. They need to give u guys some answers. I pray that you get some good news soon.

This thread got me through some of my toughest time especially the waiting for responses from CIC. It has helped me a lot and I know many others can say the same. As u mention I hope everyone has gotten their PR already and working to build their future with their love ones.

Is anyone still here. Seeing that so many of us are home on lockdown (like myself) maybe we can pass some time here. How is everyone doing?

Just the basic stuff. I landed under spouse/ common law partner. The questions were when was my last entry into Canada .... If i ever been convicted of any crime in or outside of Canada.... If i have any dependant not listed on my application.... Thats about it.

Yes I did. It was an easy process.I wasnt even asked for my receipt for RPRF neither my Id for me or my spouse. I guess it all depends on the officer u meet.

I got the email the next week but i dont know how long I had DM because I didnt check my account for a long time.

I landed today without my passport because CBSA still have it. The officer said it was ok and they will request it for me. So I finally did my landing today and i can finally breathe. Everyone who are still waiting please be a little more patient the end is near. I waited for 2years and 1 month because of CBSA issues but its finally over. Good luck to you all.

I received an email today i think it for my landing. :)

I wasnt issued any removal order. I was asked to come for a meeting with them because I was out of status when my application was filed but because my application was close to complete they decided to wait on CIC to make a decision. I think the next week or two after that interview I received AIP.

I havent heard from them either just saw DM on my account. I dont know if its because CBSA have my passport. Not even an email or letter to say anything. Im still waiting.

I havent checked on my application in months since getting my work permit ive been busy working and didnt even feel the need to check. I was just happy to be working. I just decided to check it and i see decision made I was shocked. I dont even know how long its been like that but im just happy...
