In answer to both your and Lucky's questions, yes I received a submission confirmation email back August. I can log in to my account and see it is still at the first step and hasn't been reviewed (no AOR). Since it has been over two months I thought it would be time to call in.
The agent was...
Thanks for your kind words. It is strange that the representive I spoke to over the phone suggested I potentially create a new application... I will wait a bit more and see what happens.
I applied online on August 10th, still no AOR. I am in Vancouver.
I called an agent at CIC today and he said they do not see my application on file and that my processing fee was available and not applied to an application...
The guy said he can either email the Vancouver location for an...
Hey guys,
Just a heads up I received a letter (via email) to attend a permanent residence interview next week.
It's looking like the journey is coming to a close...
Best of luck to everyone.
My timeline is above.
Cheers,
As mentioned in my first message, they requested the Schedule A on August 13th, 2019. As to whether this means the profile goes to comprehensive SS, I am unaware at this time.
The ADR request still shows it is being reviewed when I log in online. But when I spoke to an agent they told me that the additional docus I uploaded (Schedule A) has been reviewed already.
Waiting on security to pass.
I will update once I receive CBSA notes to see if I am under comprehensive SS.
Similar situation for myself: AOR Sep 8th (2018) - CEC Inland.
Received a Request Letter on August 13th to complete two Schedule A's (one for me and one for dependant) and to pay for the RPRF. Submitted on August 17th.
I have spoken to agents a few times since then:
Eligibility: Passed...
I feel your struggle!
I have had a few ghost updates recently.... my medicals have also been extended for a year. According to my last phone call with an agent, Eligibility & Criminality is passed but waiting on Security which started fairly recently.
Any idea what stage you guys are at?
AOR...
Did you get PPR in the end? If so, how long did you have to wait? I am in a similar situation and looking for an estimated timeline of when to expect.
Thanks,
Hi Guys,
AOR Sep 8th (2018) - CEC Inland
Eligibility Passed
ADR - reviewed
Criminality - Passed
Security - In progress
My medicals changed from 'passed' to 'you do not need a medical exam' around the end of Aug (medicals expired). Today I have another ghost update (had 2 in the last 2 weeks)...
Just hit the 1 year processing time.
AOR September 8th, 2019.
CEC Inland
Spoke to an agent this morning, eligibility, criminality, and additional docs have been reviewed and passed. Just Security left.
Any idea how long Security takes?
Cheers,
Hi Mesh,
Yes, I found out months ago (6-7 months) that they were doing 'extra checks' on my and my dependant's background and are "waiting on the responses of external organizations to get back to us" (Comprehensive Security Screening). Only in the past 2 weeks have I discovered my Eligibility...
Hi guys,

Hi there,
I am also a CEC applicant AOR Sep 2018 that also received and submitted a Schedule A a few days ago. Just curious how long it took you for an update and/or PPR request?
Thanks
