Inland Landing Interview from Vancouver Office: waiting time

I just tried linking my husband's PR card through GCKey and was successful. Our interview was Friday, August 30. I selected 'Add (link) your application to your account' then: - Permanent Residence card - UCI and Family Name - entered husband's UCI with a space after - entered family name in...

Inland Landing Interview from Vancouver Office: waiting time

Officially received COPR! Waiting for the card in the mail. Our interview went very smoothly, this was the process: We showed up for our 8:30am appointment at 8:15am. There was plenty of paid parking along Hornby, so we parked a block away from the office. I'd recommend paying via the app, so...

Inland Landing Interview from Vancouver Office: waiting time

Got our interview date today! August 30th at 8:30am. Does anyone know if traveling to the USA immediately after this interview is okay? I know they take your work permit, but you don't get your PR card for a while yet. We've planned a trip to Portland leaving the afternoon of August 30...

Ugh, I'm so mad on your behalf! I hope you and your husband take some time to rage about this. Got any chipped plates and bowls you can smash? But really... It sounds like you're approaching your next steps rationally, which is the best for your sanity long term. As soon as you have PR the...

Does that mean good news for your procedural fairness situation? I was so upset to read your update. Such bs to deny or delay this process due to the nature of your husband's work! I really hope you get some clarity and movement soon.

My application was received Feb 6th and I just got a ghost update today too. Does anyone know what 'good news' is meant to come after a ghost update? Maybe BGC noted as being passed? I have another question for anyone with insight. My husband (the PA's) passport expires mid-February 2020...

So sorry to hear your application was returned! At least you can stop wondering about the status in the mean time. Even from the bottom of the pile, it feels like things are moving quickly. Congrats on the visitor permit! Keep your chin up.

Update: Our work permit has been approved! That makes it 3 weeks after receiving AOR. Didn't receive any emails so far as notification, but maybe they're just on a delay. Fingers crossed everything runs smoothly with our PR/Sponsorship.

I know we're still well within the 4 month processing timeline, but whhhyyy has our OWP eligibility not started yet? Our application was received on Feb 6th! I guess this is why the CIC grumbles about this forum... sets applicant expectations way too high.
