My passport timeline: Sep 28 In person apply in Scarborough passport office (was told will send on Oct 14) Oct 8 Passport received by mail No travel time on the form. Regular apply. Just a reminder, if it's possible it's better to apply in a passport office than a service canada. It's faster.

Nothing would happed. You apply your new passport from your orginal country. Canada doesn't care about it.

I don't think location is a problem. You can even apply in different province. But I'd like to know which office in GTA is opening. Kitchener is a little bit far for me. Oh no. You can't go to Service Ontario to apply a passport. You need to go to passport office or Service Canada.

Has someone done fingerprints at York region police Ontario? I called them to book appointment but the agent said they will mail the fingerprints to my address. I had to mail the fingerprints document to CIC by myself. Is that the correct way? Thanks!

I solved my problem. I went to NEXUS office again. I asked them to change my Canadian citizenship to the "primary citizenship" and delete Canadian PR card in system because it's no long valid. Now in the system my Canadian citizenship has a golden flag. Every thing is done!
