Received my passport finally - exactly 18 weeks; For all applied in June or earlier, I would suggest to call 1-800 number and check your status; I think it helps; because on my second call they viewed in the file I called and asked. Good luck all!

passed almost 17 weeks (June 20th), I called 1-800 number and they told me it's approved and in production since last week where it takes 5-10 business days + mailing time 1-2 days, Maybe next week I will have it; no guarantor or reference has been called.

Did you notice that now max time to wait for passport is 20 business days??? no more 17 weeks. And I have 17 weeks and nothing! what's the 1-866 number to call and what do I need to identify myself?

do they normally send the passport by regular mail?

oh, it's March 11th - you should use the webform to ask for notes... usually this move could refresh your file - what happened to me for PR

it takes 5 - 14 days for Oath to get "In Progress", then another 2-7 days to receive the email; it depends by the office "productivity"(laziness) At least it's what I noticed from other's experience

once your test is validated, you will receive an email; that's all that matters

I am from Toronto but the office I received emails so far is Montreal - so they process my file

all completed lastly on May10, except Oath (not yet started) - MTL office; I thought it takes 5days to have Oath in progress; Anyone in the same boat at MTL office?

My FP were requested Dec 30th 2021 and given the day after; just in today (march 29 2022) I got the background completed; they are slow......
