hi guys - is there anyway to submit biometrics ahead of time without even being asked? My wife is British and she will most likely be asked based on what I am seeing online. Given we are under time pressure, can I get it done before it being requested? If so, how and where?

hi - ECAS shows as my “application is being processed” as of Dec 2018. I applied for in land sponsorship in april 2018. I submitted police checks upfront but not for Canada (did not live in country 6otnhs during that time). I have not yet been asked to submit background check or fingerprints...

We applied April 2018 and still waiting. How long after did it show as “we are now processing your application” to receiving AIP/interview? Also, what is the nationality of your spouse?

Send them a web form and explain situation there. Also attach completed form with signature there. No issues.

Guys how long does background check last? My wife is British and lived in Bahrain. I already submitted the police check upfront as part of the new application effective April 2018. How long will her background check last? Subsequently, how long does it take for my sponsor approval?

Terminal 3 - declaration forms are not paper based any longer. You can actually complete it on your phone (download the app). Terminal 1 - you still need to fill out declaration card and insert into kiosk

Guys what is the timeline for when Ecas shows application is in process (ie - background check in process) to receive COPR? What are the next steps?

Are you sure it’s the longest step? My wife is British and we submitted her police clearance upfront as required under the new process.

I applied April 2018, passed medical October 2018, status changed to “we are processing your application” on December 18, 2018.

Mine showed in process on december 18, 2018. How far away am I from the landing interview or COPR?
