    Question on citizenship eligibility

    Hi everyone, I am curious to understand one item in the eligibility requirements to apply for citizenship. In the website it says "You may need to file taxes in Canada for at least 3 years during the 5 years right before the date you apply." My family and I have been in Canada for little over...

    Study -> PGWP -> CEC

    Thank you for your insight and the link to your guide primaprime. I'll be sure to study it. Much appreciated. So just to reconfirm - there is no such thing as 'program list' all we have to hit are the course requirements identified in the canada.ca website. The reason I keep going back to this...

    Study -> PGWP -> CEC

    Hi All, I am asking for a family member. He has a CRS score of 451-ish and is looking for a route that would increase his chances of migrating to Canada. After reading through stuff online, it seems that studying (something eligible for PGWP) -> get at least 1-year's worth of work experience...

    Ray of hope - FSW - 1

    Hi, I was just browsing around in the forum hoping to see updates on when EE/ FSW draws will resume and I happen to chance by this thread. After reading this comment just wanted to share my thoughts. I think the only reason it dropped down to the 430s level is because recent draws since early...

    COPR and VISA

    Hi All, So recently we have received my COPR and with it, the stamp on our passports. I have noticed that on my COPR the category that we all have is 'SW1' however when I double checked the one-time entry visa stamped on our passports, it says 'IM-1'. Should these two be showing the same...

    Disclaimer: I am not an expert so wait for other replies. Yes, I think you should update with your new job. I THINK it will be via the webform in their website. I don't know if they call all of them, do sampling, or call the most recent. But I think that can be a cause why its taking longer. I...

    Your call buddy. No offense but in my opinion, too early for you to call it quits. I think you're being too impatient. Their world doesn't revolve in our applications friend. Just leave your application there, get on with your daily life and just let it come. Just my 2 cents.

    Hi everyone, For those who already filled out a webform, is it as simple as typing into the 1500 character field that 'I/ we are asking for a status update on the permanent resident application'? How did you guys do it? Thanks

    When you say company policy, do you mean the Human Resource issued letter? Have you considered writing a letter with all the pertinent details on a letter head paper then having your direct supervisor sign-off on it? Would that be possible on your case?

    I hope you're right Nisza! Now I'm thinking I should have paid the fee from the get-go. Had I known the 'anxiety' of waiting at this stage would be like this haha! We have to master our patience skills!

    Is the timeline of 1-2 days PPR post IP2 always the case? Like you, I am AOR 03Nov18 and I got asked to pay RPRF and IP2 on 25Apr19. I paid and completed the payment and uploaded the receipt when I woke up on the 26th. I believe they confirmed the documents around the 29th or 30th. I was...
