It was just my casual question. Not sure if we would still be a student and work in US (OR) become a PR and in that case we cant work.

Dear folks, I had applied for PR and I am in my 1st year of OPT. My query is: -> If I get PR, will I lose my F1 status? -> I am currently working on OPT. In case if I lose my F1 status(Pray I would not), should I have to stop working?

Dec 5 AOR too. No update yet. The medicals will be the first stage. it would generally take just more than a month from AOR date to get update. So please be patient.

I am currently working as a Research assistant in my university. The work I am currently doing is related to my major. I will not earn through the employment though. Will this be considered as my experience? Can anyone please answer this? Thanks in advance.
