I've called Service Canada and they said they are open only for urgent requests. I am working with my 9-SIN, it would be good if I could update my employer. Maybe I will give a try and go in person. By the way, what option would I select when applying online? "Change of status"? Thanks

Not sure if it helps, but I think only after you get your work permit then you can apply for your spouse work permit under C41 rule

I provided all required docs. Maybe it's a good idea to wait some time before requesting SOWP. Heard some similar cases where applicants at same time get SOWP refused. I guess it depends on the officer mood.
