Hi everyone Just popping in... my wife finally met the residency requirements and so sent her application out yesterday March 17... I already got my citizenship last year... I was shocked to the bone to find out it now cost $630 to apply..insane! I paid $200 only about a year ago.... anyways...

Am just curious....Is there any reason why people require citizenship urgently? I mean I know once you meet the current requirements you just need to apply cos of all the changes with the whole immigration process but I wont really send another application for citizenship and pay another fee if...

it seem unfair, but citizenship is a privilege not a right... some people seem to forget that.....

It can take up to 3 weeks or 15 business days from the time they receive it.. so relax!
