So confused right now. Need help. 1. Should approval letter mention my spouse? It only addresses me and family members. 2. Do both of us send passports to VFS for stamping? We both are outside Canada. So how does it work once we send our passports?

Hello! Should the principal applicant stay inside canada during PR process? I'm a work permit holder. Applied PR from Canada and my wife is a dependant (added post marriage) working from India. And i am currently working in India temporarily so that i can be with my wife during the process.

So, today i got a reply to a webform sent on 28th April 2022. Looks like the delays are worsening.

Just send a webform with remaining documents.

I understand that. But no updates is a bit unusual. Even considering covid delays.

PMI is worth only if you're applying from inside canada or your country has a decent processing time i presume. For example my spouse has a CSQ but not in canada. And the processing time for my country is 55 weeks!
