    Depends on the situation - I was asked for an interview to clarify my travels which was more than 50 in 3 years. I am in mining and consultancy and travel a lot and they raised a triage. This was good because they could have asked for an RQ which takes a long time to sort out.

    No it does not seem wiered, it appears that finally CIC is waking up and streamlining their processes. Perhaps they paid McKinsey or someone millions of dollars to do a business processes review and re-engineering. These folks have been so archaic. Good to see this happening though.
