I got my approval letter via email on March 25th and the file is forwarded to Ottawa office. I had sent the additional docs in end-January 2012. Anik- I got exactly the same email and a week later I got the approval letter via email as well. So, your turn is coming soon! Shuga, sponsorparents...

Thanks for letting me know. Much appreciated! It has been 3 days but my ecas hasn't changed. Is 3 weeks a standard wait time to get the letter after the email based on other members' experiences? Getting a bit impatient now ::)

Thanks smom- How long did it take you to get the approval letter after you received the email?

Very curious- Am I the only 'special' case who received an email acknowledgment after submitting the additional docs to Mississauga or are there others? Because from what I have seen, everyone directly received a sponsorship approval followed by file transfer to local office.

Mine is not an approval, just an acknowledgement...
