while submitting at VFS . the person there also told me that it will hardly take 10 days for the passports to come back but looks like they don't want to give it to me that soon .

Try visting early morning at around 9 am , When i went to submit my passports we were the only applicants and just took 5 mins. They charged us rs 650 per passport . They only accept cash so do carry it
