I'm Indian citizen. I dont see it realistic to find a job in Canada from another country. 'Open work category' looked better than other options, as it allows you work for any company (except some), however for temporary period of time. What I dont understand is, what exactly the restrictions...

I learn that Start up visa requires you to have at least 200k investment or a support letter from Incubation partner companies...but I'm not there yet. So I would like to come to Canada, experience the culture/work style, and then start business slowly. For first few years, I just want to work.

I just tried but no luck. Any idea how I can get provincial nominations? the province thats immigrant friendly? I have small business plans with a very minimal investment. Appreciate your help!

I have Masters, 10+ yrs of experience, 7.5 ielts. Listening IELTS seems to be crucial, band 8 bumps the CRS score to 400+ for my situation.

@scylla Just a perfect response. Thank you so much. I think I'm not for study anymore and would avoid it if there is an alternative. I like the idea of provincial nomination but I hardly had positive experience with my research. If you know provinces that have open/general category PN offerings...
