Visa recived but mistake on CPR please help

I have the same problem. I am the sponsor and they put my address as one that I have not lived at since 2002. Why I don't know. From what I can gather, as long as the important information is correct such as your name, passport number etc then you should be okay. It did say to inform them of...

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

Are the people in CIC London completely inept? They just don't seem to be able to do anything right. My partner just picked up his COPR and visa today. They have me (the sponsor) as living at an address I haven't lived in since 2002. I don't even know where they got the address unless it was...

Landing while sponsor remains out of country

I apologise if this has been asked before. I have tried searching topics but have had no success. My partner is thinking of flying from the UK to land and returning to finish the sale of the house. Since I am his sponsor, do I have to fly back with him? I know as part of the sponsorship...

    Thread for November 2010 applications

Hey Geminibella. Don't give up all hope. He may be able to follow you back to Canada soon after. I know the wait is painful and so incredibly frustrating. If he has to redo his medical, then so be it. I know it is more money but it may be necessary. Keep the faith and enjoy the rest of your...

Thanks Baloo and Inl...it isn't nice being some of the last ones to get through from your month but at least there is hope that an end is in sight now. Inl, any idea what is taking London so long for you? For us it was an RCMP check that took them three months to write us a letter to tell us...

Don't worry...you will drive yourself nuts!! lol I doubt they will ask you for the European countries. The only reason they asked for the RCMP check from us was because my partner has a really common name and someone with the same name and (supposedly) same date of birth immigrated to Canada...

    May 2011

The RCMP criminal record check applies to any applicant that has lived in Canada for 6 months or more. My partner has only been in Canada for a total of 6 weeks in his life but because he has a common name, he was asked to get one. It does not apply to sponsors. If the applicant hasn't lived...

It will delay you more than a month. It took CIC London 3 months to send us a letter to tell us exactly what they wanted...this was after us watching everyone else getting approval and us just sitting here like lemons wondering what was wrong and having emails and letters to CIC London...
