    And i spoke to the CIC agent as well, you need a police certificate if u spent 183 days in any country in that 4 year window!

    Oct 2012 and if you were in a country for more than 183 days during OCT 2012 - Sep 2013 you have to have a police certificate

    Also if you were in another country in that eligibility period in spite of you never having any ties with Canada during that 1 year you have to provide police certificate?

    Sorry, let me reframe the question, absences to be recorded even if we never came to canada, if i landed in 2014 as a PR the very first time, still i have to record all the absences, just trying to make sure here!

    I did that as well, but wait for them to update the form, you never know they might sneak in some change and your application might get rejected for no reason ;), let the storm settle down
