It's something that the CIC does...don't go by that date. Go by when it was actually received (so March). Yours will come. :)

Yes either one. If your documents get sent back it'll be as if you have never applied and will have to resubmit everything and start the wait all over again.

Yes that sounds about right. If you send in any type of extension/Change of status (I.e. work permit) application while you are in status, then you will have Implied status. So as long as one is pending, you should be good! :)

Another thing you can include is email between you and the utility companies adding your name to the account. It was the same thing we my husband and I. My utilities accounts were already set up and we were unable to add 2 names to the account owner, however, I sent an email to my hydro company...

Congratulations! I guess you guys had the same officer as we did lol! Then his medicals should arrive approximately 6 months after CIC received his application. Inland applications are mainly processed in 12 months, considering the application is straight forward.

My husband applied for his OWP while in status. One of the main requirements is that you have valid status in order to receive an Owp. His Visitor Record expired May 14. He just received his OWP approval today which states right on it "Temporary Resident Status Maintained".

OWP was approved! Feb 6 is our application date :D

Honestly, so far, this is the only hiccup with them. Is there a document that says that the normal processing time is 4 months? Cause if there is I would love to bring it up with the lawyer. :p

I think I may have to do the same thing...Feb 6 and still nothing. We tried asking our lawyer and they said to wait till the 5 month mark...

How long did it take you to get hold of them?

Did he apply Outland or Inland? For Inland, the Medicals usually come around the 6 month mark. For Outland it all depends on where you are applying from. For both Inland and Outland, PR is usually received on or before 12 months (unless the case is not straightforward).

I am not sure to be honest lol I would assume it would come to us...but who knows...maybe someone who is using a lawyer can let me know?! :P And thank you! I will definitely do that. Hope you get yours soon!

We're still waiting for the approval though, not the actual document. :(
