I was planning to call them again later this week, but no need anymore as I got nominated yesterday! My status changed very quickly from 'awaiting information' to 'decision in progress' to 'approved' - all in a couple of hours! All the best to everyone still waiting for a decision - I hope it...

I believe they need both passport AND birth certificate..

Hi JingleBells, erridja100 I'm not sure about the 'within 30 days of AOR' bit. I had a PFL on 22 September, replied on 26 September and got AOR on 5 October. It has been more than 30 days and my status is still showing 'awaiting information'. I have called them and did not get anything...

The PFL was two-fold (1) OINP asked for further details to show work experience in the NOC and (2) they needed some more info for the proof of funds. The work experience one was odd though because the NOC they quoted in the PFL didn't match the NOC I have in my application! The wait is really...

Sure, it has been quite a journey so far.. Applied 13 July, ADR 9 August (sent docs next day), 2nd ADR 16 August (sent docs 22 August), DIP 23 August, PFL 22 September (sent docs 26 Spetember) and 'awaiting information' ever since.. How about yours?

You are definitely not the only one - there are quite a few people in DIP status waiting on OINP.. Everyone is getting the same response as you when calling/emailing..

I got the same message when I called last week.. Anybody have an idea what 'soon' means? ;)

Unfortunately I wont be able to help, but it doesn't seem to be too much of an issue? Hopefully they sort it out quickly! It does worry me that there only seem to be any action from OINP if applicants call them!
