If you had the opportunity to read an earlier post by me you would be overjoyed instead. In my case once processing started approx... 3 days later i received a letter in the mail requesting my passport and pic.....

Today i carried in my passport and is awaiting a call from POS to pick up same.

I did submit one for GEO and T&T but what happen in my case is that i took out the GEO in Feb 2010....and the TT in march 16th 2010....Thanks for the concern but i had already thought about doing the TT one over as well.... Yes CIC knows that i reside here for over 1 year legally......if not...

@ confusednscared...thanks much...i am travelling to GEO on friday to takecare of the certificate..not schedule to be back in Trinidad until March 13th that is when i will carry in what is required.... @ honeybird2 ... you were spot on with the timeline....

I got my letter today requesting my RPRF payment. i didn't pay this initially. Police ceftificate form Guyana passport 1 passport pic... This letter was sent the day after processing began...

The RPRF request did it go to the sponsor in canada...or you in singapore?

That is a general letter which is of that format. It is optional to send in more info to prove the relationship if genuine. If the IO is not convince it of the relationship is genuine then they will schedule you for an interview which would max out the 12 months otherwise it can finalize in 6...

My ecas application status went 'not available' to 3-4weeks ago 'Application Recieved' and today to 'In Process'...this is what the details reads... We received ................................application for permanent residence on September 27, 2010. We started processing...

any new updates for application going through POS?

I have a question. On ecas my application status was 'not available' and last week it was updated to 'Application Recieved'. Is this normal? and what is the next status update i should expect?

Just giving a little update on my application. Sometime yesterday ecas updated my status to 'Applicaiton Revieced' late September...it also went on to say 'Medical results have been received'. From reading other posts seems as though they did a major updating on clients applications.

My spouse didn't pay the Rights of Permanent Resident Fee upon submitting the application. In an effort to save time would i paying same and mailing to the POS office would affect the process in anyway?
