Hey guys, I applied offline on 31st July from VFS Delhi and my visa got approved yesterday and I collected it today. I'm leaving tonight and I hope everyone's who's waiting gets their permits soon. Good luck!

You should call the college's international students department or admissions office and ask them. They might have deferred your course or taken another decision and not informed you. The call isn't that expensive either (it's ₹8/min from Airtel) but it's worth knowing what's the hold up.

If your visa is denied or arrives really late, the college usually doesn't deduct any money. In case of denial, they refund the entire amount. Unless you asked for an extension and assured them you'll join this session, you won't lose much.

Even I'm waiting. My brother applied on 12th July and got it on 21st August. It took 28 business days, so going by that I should get it sometime this week too. :/

Are you sure it was updated today and not yesterday? It's a Saturday so the embassy's supposed to be closed. Congratulations though! :)

If you can't defer, then I suggest you apply for a refund asap. You'll lose a small amount of money but you still have time to apply for winter session in some other college. Otherwise you can ask your query at admissions email, they'll be able to help you best.

Mine shows this as well and I applied on 31st July from VFS Delhi. Don't know how long they'll take. Doesn't matter now because I called my college and they deferred my case automatically. :/

Even if you were to receive your visa on 4th, there are a few things to consider: 1. Most flights leave for Canada at night and the shortest flight is of 21 hours. So even if you manage to get your study permit, have your luggage packed, book a flight, reach Canada and stand in the immigration...

Search for the admission officer's email ID from the college website and write them a mail explaining your reasons of joining late.
