    Nope they didn't overstay. They got multiple entry visa which is valid for 6months for each visit until it expires.Their application asked for 1month, but they got approved for multiple entry visa. Which meant they could stay up to 6months, though they returned after 3.

    Did you apply for exactly 1 month? Also does the visa mention the "valid from" date or is it valid from the day you receive your stamped passport and the month is counted from date of landing?
