    A lot depends on your profile and how relevant is the course for you. And how passionately you write your SOE as far as I think. Also the reputation of the Insitution might make some difference.

    They have written and said what they mean, which is your application will be rejected or not considered under Student Permit category. They will not say NO to you but the implication is clear. And I have read on the cic website as well where it said they will accept applications after 1st Aug...

    Buddy can you not read? Or do you just read the headline and formulate your judgement? Read the end of page 3 and the starting of Page 4. It is very clearly stated.

    Hi buddy here's the official IMM form on cic website which quotes that the last date was 1st August initially. And btw this is the standard deadline every year. This year they extended it by a week till 7th august. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5961E.pdf
