Actually, the place of birth has to be exactly same as the one on your passport, including the punctuation. If you use the same as mentioned in the passport, the linking will go through.

IRCC does not mention which category it is.. but based on the posts here, I am assuming that inland candidates, who have completed their landing at one of the IRCC centers has got their PR Cards within 30-45 days. So, Im trying to figure out if this the usual pattern. As for the Outland...

What category are you? FSW-Inland , FSW-Outland, etc.. When I check the average processing time for first PR Card at canada.ca, it is mentioned as 61 days. But when I had called IRCC last week, the IVR mentioned it as 113 days. As for your query, you can call and ask for the status anytime...

The average processing time has increased drastically because of the huge influx during the summer months. It will be about 2-3 months before we see any progress.

I am assuming this is the ghost update. I also faced the same yesterday. Im hoping that we get the approved status in a couple of days. Fingers crossed.

Looks like you are Inland candidate. Am I right? Everyone, Please mention whether you are Inland or Outland. I am beginning to think that the processing times are different for Inland and Outland candidates, though I have no evidence for this.

I don't think we will get a response for this query even if we call IRCC and ask them. A quick Google search showed this tweet from IRCC. Also, this page details the requirements and common causes for rejection.

If you sent photos on 5th June by ordinary post, then it will be delivered after 6-7 business days; which puts it at June 15th or 18th for them to receive them. Still they processed your photos and updated your profile?? If the profile update says "Approved", then there is no chance of another...

Update for those who received a photo request and sent their photos to CPC - NovaScotia. just got off the phone with IRCC Service representative... he is saying that photos received on or before June 4th are currently in process. He doesn't know when it will move to the next batch and what...
