Hello! The change was in Background Check section. Give your application atleast a couple of weeks after RPRF. Going by the past trend and if all goes well - your BG status should change from NA to in progress. I also believe that emailing CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca can help. I emailed them on...

Hello! IP2- no email just an upadte in cic account. BG status changed from NA to In progress. PPR- no upadte in CIC. Email only with subject 'Ready for Visa'.

That's correct. I would still check my junk/trash/filters to be 100% as my cic profile didn't change. PPR email was the only way to know for me.

@Wolverine17 I registered using hotmail ID. Didn't see any issues with any email including PPR.
