Planning to move to Saskatchewan in 1 st week of October

I submitted passport on 18th September to vfs.

Anything to keep in mind before reaching canada ? Any preparations?

Got application approved status in gckey and also got passport dispatched from New Delhi today on vfs site.

After sending case specific enquiry to Canada and delhi and sending emails and after completion of 16 months time got ppr in 15 days.

Submitted my passport to ahmedabad vfs today at noon. Hoping to get it return in few days. Best of luck to all guys who are waiting , hopefully those who are waiting for long time will get update soon.

No , no reply from immigration minister , high commissioner or case specific enquiry

One thing that I found out is, gcms notes does not reflect the actual file status , it only shows file status in Canada office records. Delhi file update is not available anywhere else and also ndvo does not update IRCC regularly after medical pass. They only update when file is complete.

Background check started just at the same day I got passport request

After 1 hour of passport request I got decision made

Finally got passport request from Delhi immigration today 3 PM. Very excited to reach Canada before snow. May 2016 applicant , Dec 2016 Medical request. Thanks to all the members of blog for their support.

Only 3 days left to reach 16 month of application processing , still no dm and no ppr. Not even background in process. Did send cse to ndvo , answer was application in process , nothing more. Also send cse to Canada office , they said your file is outside Canada, so they can not give any...

No update till now, it's been more than 14 months now
